Notice of solo exhibition

Exhibition

I will have a solo show in Tokyo next month.
Please come and see our solo exhibition!

“The title of this show, [ The Visitor ] was inspired by an old folk tale about vampires and ghosts who cannot enter a house unless they are invited.
Old folk tales, which have been handed down from one country to another, were also a kind of tale about uninvited guests coming from the outside, such as plagues and disasters that cover the world.
Inspired by various events and daily life, I create my works as if I am spinning a tale.”

Notice of Book Design

Illustration work

My painting is used in the book cover illustrations of “Kuruma no Musume” (Kawade Shobo Shinsha) by Rin Usami, a famous Japanese novelist.
It’s a work 20 years ago, but it’s a work that I personally love.
I am glad that this painting of mine was selected as the book cover.
Please pick it up at a bookstore.
